When change comes, do you run and hide from it, or do you embrace it as an exciting adventure?

I hope that you are in the latter category of people who view change as an exciting adventure. However, I know that most people hide at first and then slowly tiptoe into the change. So why all the talk about change? Well, changes are coming to this podcast.

This podcast has undergone a couple of changes. When it started, it was all about leadership, narrowly focused on building up leaders. Then, I shifted to focus on business, specifically on small business owners, and helping them be better at leading their teams and running their businesses.

I took a break from the podcast starting in the summer of 2023 to focus on the church I was a part of. My responsibilities in that church were taking up much of my time, and moving into 2024 I made the decision it was time to step away from leadership there and focus on my family and my desire to pursue a degree in biblical and theological studies. I started college this last fall, and it has been both challenging and rewarding.

Now, moving into 2025 I am once again taking this podcast in a new direction. The episodes that I will be making going forward will be a mix of discipleship and leadership. Specifically, the integration of discipleship unto Jesus Christ and leadership.

The Equipped for Purpose podcast exists to equip, develop, and empower followers of Jesus Christ to integrate deep discipleship with impactful leadership in every area of life. That is the direction the podcast is going, so I hope you will join me on this journey.
